We are live streamed every Sunday from 8am. But we do not want *anyone* to feel pressured into joining in, or participating in social gatherings including worship, when at a personal level you/they would prefer to stay home-based. We respect your rights and your ability to make your own decisions about church, social settings and onsite meetings. We do not have a current vaccine mandate or any rules on who can attend worship on any given day, except for the government stance on weddings. We advise that you should follow this mandate. If you have recovered from Covid 19, the recommendation is that you wear a mask anywhere in public spaces which includes church for a minimum of 7 days afterward.

If you are unsure or nervous about being in community at this time and aiming to mitigate risk, and you feel it would be better to stay home for the time being, then by all means, stay home and away from public gatherings which might also include church. If you feel you may have contracted Covid 19, use a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) or offer at a testing site for a PCR test to confirm it, and then follow the health directives given. The general advice is still, that if you are unwell stay home. Our broader response asks our congregations, to weigh up local considerations and seek to minimise risk factors wherever possible, especially if you feel this is necessary. We at St Peter’s are obviously paying close attention to all government, QLD Health and Diocesan advice, directives and mandates, but our considerations do not stop there. The changing face of Covid 19 means that we have become very adept and flexible in responding to our communities needs. Please read this message from St Peter’s Executive Team.
